Fedora Magic Co. is a magic company founded by Joshua Kaufmann, a lifelong magician who has been performing since childhood. Originally from Michigan and was inspired early on by his father, who was also a magician. That early influence, especially a love for classic props and traditional effects, continue to shape the spirit of the company today.

Joshua’s work centers on close-up magic, card work, and touches of mentalism. He has a particular interest in recreating and modernizing classic effects—taking inspiration from traditional props and methods while adapting them for contemporary performers and everyday use. The company reflects a hands-on approach to magic that balances heritage with practicality.

Now living just outside Beijing, China, with his wife and their two children, Joshua continues to perform, create, and develop new material. Fedora Magic Co. reflects both his roots in classic magic and his ongoing work designing modern props and effects for working performers.
